What happens if I damage the van? E.g. awnings, exterior/interior damage
- Promptly inform us on 07-3808-6222 maintaining full transparency regarding the incident so that we can determine the best course of action. You will then be provided guidance & support and by working together, we will provide you with the necessary assistance to manage any necessary repairs.
- Capture images of the damage for documentation purposes.
- After reporting and recording the incident, proceed to enjoy the remainder of your trip!
What to do if I am involved in an accident?
- Ensure the safety of all members in your group.
- Dial emergency services immediately by calling 000 and request assistance from either the Police, Fire Brigade or Ambulance. If emergency services are contacted and the caravan requires towing, in many cases a tow company will be arranged by emergency services.
- Not accept blame or insist the other party is at fault.
- Inform Luxury Caravan Hire on 1300 680 035 about the incident so that we can provide assistance in navigating the next steps.
- Record the contact information of any third parties involved, including their name, phone number, address, driver's license details, and car registration, as well as the year, make, and model of the vehicle.
- Note the date, time, and location of the accident.
